Safety & Maintenance Updates

Temporary Ban on minibikes and ATV’s

Due to the ongoing and frequent complaints about inappropriate use of minibikes and ATV’s by young unlicensed riders, the board voted to place a temporarily ban on the use of these vehicles. This decision was made because all previous attempts to curtail their unsafe and discourteous use have failed. While we appreciate the burden on those who do not break the rules, for the safety of the riders and pedestrians, the peace of mind of the motorists, and the consideration of the homeowners, we feel there is no other option.

If anyone is identified as breaking the ban and riding on the streets, the homeowner where they reside will be fined $50 for each occurrence. This ban will be in effect from Monday 7/25/2022 until at least 9/1/2022.

Please note that this ban does NOT include the responsible use of golf carts.

STOP!

A 3-way stop has been added to improve road safety at the intersection of Fantasia Rd and Granny Apple Way.

Please be aware of the change when approaching the intersection.

Speed Cushions

The board will look at the progress of the cushions installed in 2021 before making future decisions regarding how to reduce speed in the neighborhood.

Intersections

Split rails were added at intersections in 2021 to deter motorists from encroaching on gravel in the corners. They will be stained in 2022.

Reckless Endangerment

Improper use of the roads by vehicles including ATV’s, mini motorcycles, dirt bikes, etc. will receive a letter to the home where they reside or the residence they are a guest of. Continued infractions will result in a fine to the homeowner.

As a homeowner, if you identify a vehicle driving recklessly, please capture the vehicle on camera or video and send it to the HOA board.

Tree Trimming

Please keep your lot trimmed back 10 feet from the road. This includes overhanging branches. If you are unable to do this yourself and need help, please contact the board and we will work with you to keep the road clear and safe.
