David Boggs:
My wife and I moved here a year and a half ago and are loving it. We look forward to retiring here in the very near future. It’s a wonderful place to live and I’d like to be part of the board that keeps it that way. I’m not shy about voicing my opinions and offering solutions, but overall I’m pretty easy going.
Sharon and I have been married twenty-two years and have two sons, two lovely daughters-in-law and two rambunctious grandsons. We share our home with our pup Maggie.
Donald E. McCallister:
Greetings to you. My name is Donald McCallister. I am married to my best friend Susan, and we have two dogs Nelly (Shitzu) and Baxter (Cavapoo). We do have aquarium fish and a beautiful red canary as well. Originally from southern West Virginia and my wife is from Pennsylvania, we are two people who love life and people around us. We love created ideas that are wholesome and family oriented while also being open minded and proactive to the needs of others. Such as the case in my career as being a disabled U.S. Navy Veteran of 9 years in active combat service and currently serving a bi-vocational career as a 27+ year federal employee at the Dept. of Veteran Affairs and a Pastor in the Methodist Church in Jefferson County, WV. It is the greatest privilege that I experience in serving others, and as a Pastor, I continue to strive to give hope to those that are not able an passion to those who lack it. This I believe is something everyone on earth should house to some degree, yet my request to be part of Tabler Estates isn’t just to sit quietly and enjoy the peace and tranquility, but to help bring a better environment to everyone, especially the children, the future of America. Being new to Tabler Estates, I can see how much work has been done to keep it safe and peaceful. This is what I intend to help continue to do, while also ensuring safety as being a top priority. Although this or any position is not a one man/women operation, it does take a family, each home, to make it a success. I honestly feel I can do my part by helping where I am needed and giving insight towards a community where I am experienced in serving– from those less fortunate to those abroad. Whatever the reasoning and circumstance, being fair and open minded is vitally important in any role especially when it comes to keeping a community alive and vibrant. In closing, I ask that you please help the board members help you! We each play a vital part in keeping the words community and neighborhood in the forefront of our vocabulary. Let us all take part, from young to old, in helping to ensure these two words can be always reflected upon in Tabler Estates as a vibrant and amicable place we call home!
